Chrysler intends to dramatically change and redefine the minivan category by introducing the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivan. The new Chrysler Pacific will be the first-ever hybrid minivan available to drivers and is expected to offer up to an 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) and be able to drive 30 miles on electric power. In order for the new Chrysler Pacific to deliver such an incredible fuel economy rating, it uses a new version of the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and combines it with an electric motor that is powered by a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery pack is expected to fully charge in as little as two hours when you use the 240-volt plug-in system. The technology that helps this new and innovative 2017 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid minivan deliver such incredible efficiency is its electrically variable transmission and of course its two electric motors, both of which can give the wheels the power they need to drive.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
