In order for a person interested in the diesel engine for the 2020 Wrangler to get the new engine, they will need to choose among four-door versions of the Sport, Sahara or Rubicon trim grades. The turbocharged 3.0-liter, V-6 EcoDiesel engine will make 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, Jeep has included a 5.1-gallon diesel exhaust fluid tank next to the fuel tank to make it easier to replenish the DEF when it\u2019s time. For what it\u2019s worth, the DEF will need to be refilled every 10,000 miles when the oil is changed.<\/p><\/div>\n

A 2020 Wrangler with the new EcoDiesel engine will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds. Finally, Jeep is reporting that the new EcoDiesel power plant will make the models that use it the most fuel-efficient versions of the Wrangler ever produced.
