Edmunds.com has named the 2020 Ram 1500 as its Top Rated Truck for 2020. The automotive expert website specializes in delivering the objective and accurate information about just about every aspect of buying, maintaining and selling vehicles. In order for a vehicle to be named to the website\u2019s prestigious\nlist, it must meet the experts\u2019 criteria in seven separate categories and\ngenerally be an example of automotive industry excellence. While the 2020 Ram\n1500 isn\u2019t drastically different from the 2019 model, there was one area of the\nlatest version that stood out to the team from Edmunds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe new EcoDiesel variant introduced this year delivers even stronger fuel economy, more torque and improved towing capability,\u201d Weaver said. \u201cThe Ram 1500 easily remains the most desirable pickup truck on the market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ram introduced the third-generation version of the turbocharged 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V-6 for the 2020 version<\/a> of the truck. Its best-in-class torque output of 480 pound-feet is a 14 percent increase over the last diesel engine the automaker used. Additionally, the powertrain\u2019s native fuel economy scores, combined with a large 33-gallon fuel tank will allow owners to travel as much as 1,000 miles on a tank of diesel fuel. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
