When will we see the new Jeep Scrambler?<\/h2>\n

Some of today\u2019s most popular automotive brands call the Billion Auto Group showroom home. Jeep holds a special place in the hearts<\/a> of their fans with a storied history and commitment to performance that spans 70 years or more. If there is a gap in the brand\u2019s lineup, some may point out that bringing back a pickup truck platform would fill it. Luckily, a solution is on the way. So, when will we see the new Jeep Scrambler without\u00a0all of\u00a0the masking? If a recent report from\u00a0AutoBlog\u00a0is accurate, which it usually is, the manufacturer won\u2019t make us wait very long. The Jeep Scrambler pickup truck appears ready to make its world debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.<\/p>\n

What do we\u00a0know?<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Auto Show runs will be underway from Nov. 27 through Nov. 29. Of course, there will be a lot of news coming from the exposition as LA serves as either the end or beginning of auto show season, depending on how you look at the calendar. Perception of time aside, the Jeep Scrambler is almost certainly going to be one of the most popular exhibits at the show. You can be sure we\u2019ll share as many new photos as possible as well as any performance information we find out along the way.<\/p>\n

Conventional wisdom around various Jeep forums online seems to believe that the Scrambler will\u00a0feature the same or similar powertrains as what we currently observe in the Jeep Wrangler<\/a>. This means four-cylinder and V-6 engines will probably be available. A lot of folks are holding out hope that a diesel option will also eventually be on the table.<\/p>\n

A new member of the Ram family<\/h3>\n

Joining the Jeep Scrambler in the midsize pickup truck category could be a new member of the Ram Truck family. A few outlets we regularly visit have filled our heads with the possibility that a midsize Ram pickup truck could join the lineup next year in time for the 2021 model year. Just about everybody working in the Billion Auto Group showroom has fond memories of the Dodge Dakota, so maybe they\u2019ll bring the name back for the new truck \u2013 we just don\u2019t know yet. We do know that it will likely be a body-on-frame design (like we\u2019ve observed have great success for GMC) and that it will not be related to a Fiat pickup truck the automaker sells in Latin America.<\/p>\n
