Equipment and Features
During a visit to the Billion Auto Group showroom, the sales staff will help prospective buyers find the best version of the 2017 GMC Sierra Half-Ton in Bozeman, MT that will meet their requirements. The first decision that will be made will be which of the four primary trim levels interests the customer, Base, SLE, SLT and Denali. Once the trim is chosen, that will dictate which of the three cabin styles and cargo bed lengths are able to be combined. Buyers will be able to choose among regular, double and crew cab layouts. Regular cab models can have 6.5- or 8-foot beds. Double cabs only come with the 6.5-foot option and crew cabs are available with 5.8- or 6.5-foot cargo boxes.
Base — The entry-level base trim of the 2017 GMC Sierra is a great option for commercial customers. A lot of features are standard and the standard 4.3-liter, V-6 engine can still make plenty of power without sacrificing fuel economy. Buyers also have the option of choosing the 5.3-liter, V-8 with the base model.
SLE — More technology features become available with the 2017 GMC Sierra SLE. The automaker makes a rearview camera and upgraded version of the GMC IntelliLink system standard at this level.
SLT — Arguably, the 2017 GMC Sierra SLT is the best-equipped truck in the segment that doesn't have a Denali badge. Buyers driving home in the 2017 Sierra SLT will have a V-8 engine under the hood. The 5.3-liter power plant is standard, however, the 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter engine is optional.
Denali — If there is such a thing as a luxury pickup truck, the 2017 GMC Sierra Denali would be it. The Denali model comes with just about every feature and piece of equipment that can be added. Active safety systems and Magnetic Ride Control are standard on this version.
