The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association show is just about ready to wrap up its 2019 edition. SEMA is one of those events that automotive insiders get pretty excited for because automakers like Nissan show customers some really imaginative concept vehicles. This leads us to one of the more intriguing questions that have popped up in the showroom this week, ‘What is the Nissan Frontier Desert Runner?’ The Frontier platform has been a favorite choice for off-road driving enthusiasts for a long time. Even the most experienced car buyers ask our product experts, ‘Which color of car gets pulled over the most?’ Conventional wisdom and urban legend say that red will get the most negative attention from law enforcement. As we begin to shift from spring to summer, and schools begin to let out, more and more time will be spent in the vehicle fighting over who gets to choose the music. While car rules generally state that the driver is in charge of the music, cases can be made for any of the passengers to try their hand at playing DJ. Choosing a mix for a car ride, be it long or short, is an incredibly important position. While it may be easier to just turn on the radio, having control over the jams will make every trip enjoyable. Nissan Rogue Star Wars display at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show

If you are a movie buff, or even someone who has turned on the TV once or twice over the past year, you may have heard of a little film called “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Of course, with Nissan having a nifty crossover SUV called Rogue, that makes for a beautiful partnership. The company partnered with Star Wars to create a special edition of the Rogue called the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. That model is available to own in very limited quantities, and Nissan brought it to display in Chicago. The automaker also brought along a (sadly, not available) version of the Rogue that is decked out like an X-Wing Fighter from the franchise.
