What kind of technology does the 2021 Nissan Titan have?

The latest version of the Nissan Titan has already started to arrive at the Billion Auto Group showroom. Our team has already learned that it offers the most powerful standard V-8 engine in its class. However impressive the Nissan full-size truck’s performance is (400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque), it isn’t the whole story. As we talk to people about the truck, a lot of them ask us, ‘What kind of technology does the 2021 Nissan Titan have,’ once we get beyond the performance specs. Not only will drivers and passengers in the 2021 Titan be protected by the latest Nissan safety features, but they will also be able to easily keep in touch with the outside world while they’re on the road. Let’s take a closer look.

Standard Safety Features

Every 2021 Nissan Titan trim grade available at or coming to the Billion Auto Group showroom will be equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology as standard equipment. The main goal of these features is to keep drivers out of potentially dangerous situations. They will be protected by:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • High Beam Assist
  • Rear Automatic Braking

The 2021 Titan is the only truck in its class with Rear Automatic Braking and Rear Door Alert as standard equipment.

Connectivity Technology

The ability to connect native automotive technology to outside devices has become a must-have feature. Owners of the 2021 Nissan Titan will be able to control the automaker’s infotainment system, via an 8-inch touchscreen â€“ the largest standard touchscreen in the class. This will give owners of most 2021 Titan trims access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Autoâ„¢ suites of applications. If that isn’t enough connectivity, an internal Wi-Fi router is available that can support up to seven devices simultaneously.
