What will the new Android Auto look like?

However, the most exciting change coming with the new Android Auto update will be how it helps different applications work together. Current and older versions of the Android Auto interface required users to back out of whatever app they were using in order to access another one. It looks like a function bar will remain on the bottom of the touchscreen so that someone can be looking at Google Maps and still have the ability to skip forward or back on their favorite podcasts or playlists.
