What does the Nissan Rear Door Alert system do?

Forgetting something in the back seat of your vehicle is certainly annoying and inconvenient, but it can also be very dangerous if a child is riding with you. Parents are under a lot of stress and making being occasionally absent-minded isn’t terribly uncommon. Leaving a child in the vehicle is incredibly dangerous, even on relatively cool days. A study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that temperatures inside of a vehicle can reach as high as 110 degrees Fahrenheit when the outside temps are only in the mid-60s.
