2021 Rogue vs. 2020 Rogue Performance Specs
Both the 2021 Nissan Rogue and 2020 Nissan Rogue use similar powertrains, a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that is attached to a Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission. However, the 2021 Rogue will produce 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. A 2020 Rogue will make 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.
Additionally, the 2021 Nissan Rogue can post an estimated 27 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. By comparison the 2020 Rogue will produce 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. It might not seem like much of a change, but over the life of a vehicle, these savings on fuel costs can add up to real money.
Cargo Volume Differences
The ability to move people and cargo is always going to be a make-or-break element for any crossover SUV. Nissan has made 39.3 cubic-feet of cargo volume available behind the rear seat of both the 2021 and 2020 Rogue models. However, folding that rear seat down will reveal 74.1 cubic-feet in the 2021 Rogue, versus 70 cubic-feet in the 2020 version.
